All Around Is Nothing 6 is part of a series of six geometric works on paper that call to mind the work of British Op-Art artist Bridget Riley circa the 1960s. The series features a single geometric circle in varying angles and monochromatic shades. In this work, the axis is upright, and contrasting graphite and bone white bands form the geometric circle giving it a 3D effect. An inversion of All Around is Nothing 5, the background of horizontal graphite bands become increasingly defined from the top to the bottom of the circle's form.
Drawing the viewer's gaze toward the singular spherical object, All Around is Nothing 6 invites the viewer to engage in a philosophical reflection of the nature of reality and one's place within it. An original addition to the exclusive ART by TA Collection.
