Design Studio - Our Team

Landing in Charleston was truly a blessing. I was told it would be impossible to break into the design community here, but the stars aligned. One of my earliest opportunities came when I participated in an ASID Designer Showhouse, which led to being hired for a home renovation in Yeaman’s Hall. That single project turned into a 25-year collaboration, during which we renovated or built six homes together—a true honor.

In the 80s, I decided to formally pursue my passion by studying Interior Design at the Southern Institute in Huntsville, Alabama. From my very first drafting class, I was hooked. To this day, I still draft and create renderings by hand, which remains one of my favorite parts of the design process.

After graduation, my family and I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where I worked for an interior design firm and fell in love with high-end design. Eventually, I returned to my hometown of Wilmington, North Carolina, where I expanded my experience by working with a high-end furniture gallery.

For more than 40 years, I have dedicated myself to transforming interiors into beautiful, functional, and personalized spaces. My work is driven by a passion for design and an eye for detail. I especially enjoy working with floor plans, which I see as the road map for creating cohesive, tailored environments that reflect each client’s unique style.

Interior design has been my life’s work. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to not only create meaningful spaces but also form lasting friendships with many of my clients.
